There is an old saying in the investment world that everyone seems to forget: "An innovative company is not necessarily a good investment." Time will tell.

IBM is a real company with a long track record. Watson solved Jeopardy and Healthcare. At a PE in the mid 20s it is similar to GOOG and cheaper than these expensive lottery tickets. This kind of technology requires time. I remember the excitement over a decade ago talking to scientists about quantum computing and the promise of the super computers. Rushed technologies made public and commercially available too soon are a recipe for disaster.
